Oh my. I don't think he can ever become a star. He can shoot 3's. But he's not that athletic... Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Nets and Pistons. I know most people don't give a crap about the East...cuz SAN ANTONIO IS GOING TO WIN ANYWAYS, but man. That game was pretty horrible. Jason Kidd is really MVP. He's great. Detroit was very lucky to even be close. Ben Wallace really needs to improve his free throw shooting... New Jersey should win in 6.
Detroit is 9-0 in OT this year. That is clutch. Chauncy Billups is clutch. Ben Wallace is a beast. RIP Hamilton is underrated. Rick Carlile is a damn good coach combined with blue collor players like okur, prince, c williams and Robinson how can you not like this team?.. atleast respect them.
Did you watch the game? I don't hate them. I don't like either team that much! I do like Chauncey Billups. He's awesome..like Nick Van Exel. He drains threes. But did you watch the game? It was horrible. Nobody could score. Tayshaun Prince is very skinny but a good player... Detroit's coach is very good. But man...that's sad. Okur had two easy chances to just put it in and he couldn't. Richard Hamilton couldn't make a free throw in clutch time...Billups made both. Ben Wallace didn't make anything...he blew a dunk. They were the best team in the East. They also beat Houston twice. But still...New Jersey will win in 6. Richard Hamilton isn't that underrated anymore. Now everyone is loving him. They are a good team, but they can never win a championship...unless they get Memphis's pick.
No way, dude. Duncan has done MUCH more with his team with much less talent around him. There is no comparison.
Okur is actually fairly athletic. He's had a couple up and under dunks and several pump fake a three and fly through the lane for a lay-up/dunk maneuvers. He's kind of sporadic in his athleticism though. He had that airball rebound and dunk in one motion thing today too. I think he needs to hit the weights a little to work on his explosiveness. But, I think he'll be an all-star level center at some point in his career. That doesn't mean he'll be great, but a Divac/Brad Miller type level is attainable for him. People have been saying Detroit can't do this or that for 2 seasons now. I think they've proven they could give a flying fig about that.
