If one was to have a Cat Scan done on their head, and the Dr. noted that there was "fullness" in an area, does anyone know what that means???? Any information would be appreciated.
I don't think you're supposed to have too much brain fluid.....if the fluid doesn't drain properly, maybe that causes the "fullness." Obviously, I don't know....I'm just hypothesizing.
Codell, you should have asked for him to elaborate on that.... fullness could mean just about anything. It could mean that one half of your brain is larger than the other half (which in most of the population, one side IS bigger than the other). It could mean that you have some swelling in that spot where you bumped your head a while back. It could mean fluid accumulation (if this were the case, he probably would have done something about it) or it could mean you have activity where most people don't. But honestly, in matters of the brain, if there were something needing action, the doctor would have taken care of it immediately. He really was probably just saying that you had a large brain. *just because I'm a human bio major and like to think I know a bunch of stuff, doesn't mean I actually do, or that I'm actually right - I'm just making educated guesses here*
What area was it in? 'Fullness' is very ambiguous. Also, was it a radiologist that read it or just a GP?
