Hmm...who has the most gold medals...and the most medals at the Olympics...did anybody follow that? Thanks for the info...
Well - one where - but luckily for Germany he participated for Spain. Well Norway should have gotten 13 gold so we should rightly top the chart. Why? I think that someone that is taken in doping should have all the medals taken from them, not just those after the test were taken. You don't start cheating mid-olympic, after taking 2 gold - that don't make sense - the cheating most likely have been going on for a quite a while. You can say that he also tested negative after those two runs, but as I understand this drug is very hard to find in tests, and Muehlegg probably had a refill thinking they couldnt find it at all. Sucker
Mühlegg is crazy. The whole reason that he starts for Spain is that he thought that some German coach had "put a spell on him". Don't know if any of you saw him in interviews but when you look at his eyes, you can tell he is insane... By the way, the US should also have a gold medal less...in short track...ah, that is already in another thread ...
Well, Muehlegg never did NOTHING before he turned in spanish, the food, good wine(he loves Rioja),wheater,MONEY fot their trainings(Spain wasted in him more than Germany in the half of their competitors),was decissive facts for Johan (Juanito now) would have a good olympics games, BTW many countries have adopted athletes , (you only have to see the surnames in this games and the past Sidney´s games) talking about the Muehlegg´s doping, its very weird, How the hell he made 2 test before in this olympics (before the other 2 gold medals races)and the results were negative??, thats simple, the organization robbed from Spain a gold to give it to Russia, compensating the stolen golds that Russia lost before. btw im very trusted in the 2nd analysis. I really cant understand these "Nationality problems" with Muehlegg, following this theory, spanish people would must feel like own the medals that any athlete with spanish surname won, because all this people has spanish blood. Well this includes some "american" medals(like derek Parra and Jennifer Rodriguez´s medals), and when Argentina, for example, won the soccer world cup, that was a success, half spanish, half italian.Remember too Mexico 86(soccer), Mexican people was simillar happy with a mexican team´s victory than Spanish´s team victory, and they support more our squad than the own spanish. I guess that some african countries(like Argeria, Zidane is Argerian)) are the winners of soccer world cup, since France has 8 players from there.and wait, all brazilian success is Spanish too!!, because they have portuguese ancestors, and Portugal was Spanish a centuries ago. The same with Holland (was spanish before) and... GERMANY!! ,Germany was part of spanish kingdom with Carlos I., Damn!! Spain is clearly the winner in this olympics!!!!!!!!! THATS A COMPLETE NO-SENSE when somebody feels a country like own, THEN he is of this country, and Muehlegg , feels himself like spanish, and he received spanish support to reach their success. no doubt for any spanish about it. btw people here begins to feel like own the success of any country in European Union. Now is soon, but in a while this will happen, and the EU will compete under the same flag. I bet for it.
For me there is none - my only problem with Mühlegg is the doping. He was on the way to be remembered as one of the best athletes of this olympics. Now he will be remember as a loser. All his medals should be taken away from him. Of course if he could prove that this was something he got in his system by taking something else I guess he could salvage some of his reputation, but this is not the type of drug you get from a diet supplement. To explain what I mean. Last olympics (summer), two Norwegians were sent home (rightfully as it were in the system, and the medals taken from them) for using Nandrolon. They both were shocked and couldnt believe that they should test positive, and both claimed that it had to come from the diet supplement they were taking (that wasnt supposed to have Nandrolon in them). Both manufacturers of the separate supplement claimed that: "You can't get positive for Nandrolon by using our supplement", but it were later proven that body transform some of the ingredients in the supplements to Nandrolon. It is still right that they were sent home, and the medal taken away (one of them got a medal) as the supplement helped them illigally even if they didnt know. They also had to serve their penalties for not competing for some time, but got their sentences reduced because of this. So, yes - I think Mühlegg should lose all his medals, and that has nothing to do with what country he participates for, or what country he is originally from.
