medal tally question

    I bet someone on this question:

    Say a a swimming relay team wins gold. Does that count as 4 gold medals for that country under their medal tally, or just as 1?

    My life depends on this... :cool:

    that would be pretty interesting if a soccer gold medal counts for 18 gold medals :D....Cameroon will be one of the best countries in 2000 Olympiad :D :D

    If medals are given based on participants, then the US should really try to get American Football into the games. The extra 53 gold medals should really help in the medal counts. :)
