It's disappointing, but what do you want him to say?

I think the Texans have to finish 6-10 in order for Kubiak to get canned.

I think he's overstating "fine job" to say the least but not surprised he would say this. It is setting up another year, however, as the excuses are already in place. IF Kubiak falls on his face, then he can comeback and retract but if he stays mediocre then he blames the players.

If he does blame the players then he better be ready to go out and spend some money to bring in the RIGHT players.

    :( :( :(

    no playoffs, please fire him.

Even if we made the playoffs, I'd fire him, but if we make the playoffs, Bob ain't gonna fire him.

Let's hope Bob Mcnair goes to the Jerry Jones school of "changing your mind".

and Wade Phillips job is not in jeopardy this season....

They have to say something and they aren't going to show their true feeling to the media to cause more problems.

No doubt in my mind that Kubiak gets another year. McNair is one patient son of a b****.

I think that's actually a good thing. He doesn't meddle and f stuff up.

If Kubiak is good, he will get a chance to show it. If he's not, then the next coach will have a chance. When we do get a good coach, he will have full control and given every opportunity to succeed.

We're not running a circus like the boys up in Dallas.

If Kubiak was good, he would have shown it in the previous 4 years as the HC. As it is his overall record is 35-37. How many more years as HC does he need to prove that he's not an average at best HC like his record indicates?

And Jerry Jones wasn't going to fire anyone before the season was over.

The hell Bob, that is the problem he is making BAD decisions!

    QB sneak on a 4th and a long 1?!

Not running the ball more often on first downs, when you know Foster will get anything he wants out there.

Running a hurry up offense with 5:17 to go with just a TD needed to win the game?!

WTF so angry that the owner doesn't see this...just beyond frustrating.

And his excuse for the qb sneak was he didn't know the ball was so far from the first down mark...okay if a coach doesn't even know where the ball is and you have 3 time outs it would be wise to USE JUST ONE...

I am convinced that Kubiak has no idea what he is doing out there, he is gambling with this team while other coaches are just schooling him.

Really? That's consecutive weeks Kubiak has used pure ignorance as an excuse for stupid play calls.

"I didn't know if I would go for it on 4th down if we didn't convert on 3rd and 2."

"I didn't know exactly how far we had to go to get a first down."

    WTF?

Bush will be the one to get fired. How can a DC survive presiding over the worst D in the NFL?
