What's Hot Mon, Nov 23rd 2009, 09:12 Update on Return Hey everyone I want to keep everyone posted on what’s happening, so here it goes. It’s looking as if I may be back on the court this week. I know there were reports going around that there were issues with me and the coach but there isn’t. Together, we are looking at the best scenario on when my return should be, and we are hopeful it will be this week. The team is playing great together and getting me back out there is a decision my coach, doctors and general manager will help make. I saw this morning there were reports that I was out of practice yesterday because of a sore back. The truth is that we didn’t even have practice yesterday. Now, I know how rumors get started so I need to put this one to rest. I slipped the other day in Atlanta at the game and landed on my tail bone. If any of you have ever done that, then you know it’s no big deal, but just is sore. We all know how “T-Mac out because of back” can get interpreted the wrong way, so I thought I would explain before that train spun out of control. All is good here and again, I appreciate your support, love and continued encouragement. Hopefully, you will see me back on the court playing this week. I hate when people give "quote" threads 1 star. It's not like the OP said anything stupid, he's just quoting a piece of information that we as Rockets fans should know about our players, in addition to all the other stories out there.
At this point I take everything on Tmac's site with a grain of salt but it's good that he's trying to at least put the right words out there.

Dude, you should know that anything Postive + T-Mac will get 1 star. The easier way to get a 5 star thread is a negative T-Mac thread. Anyways, its always good to hear updates straight from the source. I lol'd about he whole "back" rumors he mentioned.
Texans are playing on Monday Night Football, Tmac is coming to play this week, not to mention it's a thanksgiving week, which means only 3 and half days work.... HOW GREAT THIS WEEK IS GOING BE!!!!

No doubt. McGrady never lies or exaggerates...ever. I definitely trust him over the organization and it's "players' coach."
Thanks for the link. I think Mac's publicist did a nice job with updating his website. Since Mac said probably none of this, I don't feel any better about his return (aka trade) date.
I root for Tmac. In spite of all those negative images during the past year, I think this spoiled kid is still capable of playing good BBall.
This is like waiting for that movie New Moon to arrive. The hype and anticipation is beyond belief. Go Team Edwar..I mean Tmac!
i hope T-Mac can come back and contribute. I really do. It would be awesome. Do I think he will? No I dont, but that is all based on past events and information.
LoL, that made me laugh. But I have a question for you.....if Tmac starts to play with the team soon and let's say averages 20+, 5 rebs and over 6 assists while we go let's say on a 5 game winning streak, would you still want to trade him? Just curious.
I belive that. Now let's see. Looks like his back is ok and they will have 3 practices this week. That's a lot. And if he does well he should be back right after that so I hope he can play in the upcoming road trip.
