20.8 PPG 7 AST 7.2 REB 1.2 STL 1 BLK McGrady has been looking great and should continue distributing the ball. He should also continue to be aggressive and we know good things happen whenever he is. Hopefully his knee continues to get better and he regains his old form.
i like mcgrady's way of play since he came back. more taking it to the rack, more play making. i think it is a good change in style for him at this stage of his career, and the team will be better off. nor sure if this temporary or he will continue to play this way. hope he's thinking the same i am thinking.
hes also getting those numbers in fewer minutes than most players would. he got that triple double in 37 min, and that 24/10/9 game vs gs was in 34min. hasnt played 40min in his last 5 games. making his fts at his best in his career. pretty good for us if we can dominate the playoffs.
he still looks bad on a back-to-back physically. tonight, his talent willed him to those great stats. a few of his pull up jumpers tonight (though some went in) looked awful with zero lift. hopefully his legs get better. it's so obvious when he has rest, he looks much quicker/more explosive. but he has been playing well and driving a lot more, averaging 7 fts a game since he has returned. just hope he gets his lift back and his mid-range game should be dangerous again.
He had a knee to knee collision last night, the pain from those don't go away overnight. Back to back with the lingering effects of the knee to knee could be effecting him.
I like the style of play and the statistics. Tracy's been playing very well since his return. I'm being patient since he'll be regaining his strength through January, but I hope to see more of a killer instinct out of him later on. Yao is definitely the engine of our offense, but Tracy is the busdriver, and IMO he's got to be the guy that can repeatedy break down opposing defenses. I'm a big fan of how he's been letting the game come to him lately, but the time's going to come for him to be the 'killer' on this team. Everyone's been wanting this for years, but he doesn't have to do that all the time this year. He just needs to possess the willingness to take the game over when the situation arises.
He's so damn slow. This play isn't going to be acceptable when the playoffs roll around. Hopefully he's at 100% by then.
and kobe scored his mighty 80+ pts against - the raptors. a full strength battier will have him shoot 7-for-21 for 20+ pts.
Those are Scottie Pippen numbers, Nice job T-Mac. Hopefully he can keep this up and not get injured along the way.
Good numbers. Im glad someone dropped him from their fantasy team and I picked him up 1 game before he came back. Make me some money, Tracy.
wow, talk about a buzzkill... http://www.nbc.com/Saturday_Night_Live/video/clips/debbie-downer/32806/
ok, that explains the tape around the knee. but this game looks similar to the clips game. he had very little to zero lift. he's still recovering so i'm not gonna criticize him. at least he still impacted the game. but i hope this will go away soon. sucks the cavs game is on a b2b.
how about ron ron? since coming off the bench, he is shooting 50% for 16ppg. 1) he's taking more spot up shots and limiting his off the dribble play. he's porous at that 2) 2 TO per game -> limiting his playmaking, which he's also porous more importantly, he's being a finisher. we need that from ron and he's delivering. and hes still recovering from that ankle. once he's better, i'm sure we'll post him up more and that will make him a more dangerous scorer.
