Thanks for the update! I've been nervously waiting all day to find out how many games TMac will have to miss.
Will miss next 2 games before being re-evaluated on Friday. It does not mean he will miss only 2 games.
This is truly about the best news we could've hoped for. Seriously, I mean, the only thing better than this (aside, obviously, from him being injured in the first place) is if they said he was playing tonight, and that obviously wasn't going to happen. 2 games, and then we hope the re-evaluation comes out positive.
ARGHH!!@^%#@! what the hell is up with this team?!? it may soon be time to call it quits for the year. I'd rather have TMac rest and recover, get a lotto pick, and kick some butt next year. I'd hate to see Tmac overcompensate for his back, and land awkwardly or something. But from what is sounds like, rest wouldn't even help... would it? Would several months of rest "cure" his back? this just sucks. is it time to call Latrell's agent?
Hopefully it's not too bad. I would hope we can rest him more, till Yao comes back and shares some load from him. Meanwhile, other players can step up and show their true color, which isn't too bad a thing either.
Is it time to go "Texans" on the Rockets now? Is it time to start the LaMarcus Aldridge lottery countdown? Can someone here start www.lamarcusaldridgesweepstakes.com? Time to curse every Rocket win and cheer every defeat as an odds booster?
and as you thought the season wont get any worse. as you thought everyone was goin back from their injuries, we hit another one! damn, this season's prolly one of the worst injury-riddled seasons ive seen. but i still have high hopes. its not over til the last game is played!
This reports might be accurate, Magic fans on other boards described a similar injury, complete with stretcher caused by a nasty collision, and T-Mac was able to come back in two days! I guess these types of spasms look a lot worse than they really are... Hope that's the case.
It is time for the guys who are 2nd, and 3rd stringers to step up and keep us close in the playoff race. We are only a few games out of the 8th spot now, and if we can stay that way it will be great experience for our bench. They can develop toughness and get used to playing against great top level players on the opposing teams, so that when we are in the playoffs, our bench will already be used to tough pressure situations. We can emerge out of this stronger... (fill in six million dollar men opening here)
