Reading Clutch`s article made me wonder, what was the real reason of Mac`s decline from a all-star level player to what he is now?

IMO, I think it was age and all the wear and tear from playing in the league since high school, also he`s got to have one of the weakest mentality of all athletes I`ve ever seen.

    What do you think?

I think he suffers from depression. I thought the same thing about Eddie Griffin.

And I don't get this 'wrong forum' stuff. People talk about ex-Rockets in here all the time. People take forum policing too seriously.

To stay on topic though, I think T-Mac got too big. Watch the 2004-05 season. He was thin and at his perfect playing weight.

I remember he was depressed a few years ago when He was in the all star game. They had to give him the ball to make him happy lmao

As it comes to injuries you simply look at his shooting fundimentals. When he releases he extense his right foot looking for contact. He lands on his left leg in an awkward faction putting more stress on his left leg and lower back.

You'd have to take that further than tmac just looking for contact... due to his scoliosis his hip may be tighter in that area, so that leg automatically kicks up more than the other, forcing him to land on one leg.
