The Rockets have not been allowing representatives from other teams watch Tracy McGrady's private workouts. Even though they have been discussing a deal, McGrady could be bought out. If McGrady becomes a free agent, the Knicks are first on his list of where to sign for the remainder of the season, according to a source close to him. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-thomasbulls021010&prov=yhoo&type=lgns

Because I bet he wasn't working out like he said.. He's probably worse and if other teams see him play they won't want him and Morey's trade proposals will be dead.. Plus Tmac wants us to buy him out so he can sign a free agent contract somewhere.. He is probably trying to sabotage us again like he did last year.. I wouldn't put it past him.
I'm so sick of McGrady playing the media. So classless and ungrateful. The Rockets have paid hi over $40M this and last season to stay at home. If he's trying to force a trade or buyout I hope the Rockets don't give in.
He thinks there's a chance his contract could be bought out... Wake up Mcgrady! Why the heck would the Rockets buy you out?
Because he looks like crap. If McGrady looked good, he would be playing and Rockets would be fielding lots of very attractive offers for him.
I think it's just standard policy to not let other teams observe (or potentially tamper with) players who are technically still under contract. I think the Rockets would have to make some kind of exception, which may be abnormal for trying to market, evaluate, and trade talent. If they don't have to show their cards, it's probably wisest not to.
or he's doing better than it has been portrayed, but houston still wants to trade him and this will keep his value down..
Earlier reports had scouts in watching him. I think it could be just teams that can't trade for him or are waiting on a buyout that are being rejected.
do you really think he cares at this point? he wants to play, he doesn't care if it is for ny or gs, he wants to play this season and his contract ends so it wont even matter where he goes cause he can choose to get up and walk out after the season is over anyways stop hating on tmac, he's my boi
