How many times can you cry wolf about being healthy?

[rquoter]We’re going to put out the guys that have committed themselves in our practice sessions. Also, we’re going to be committed to what we’re trying to get accomplished defensively.[/rquoter]

    Not good news for McGrady.

    Code:
    “I’m only 31. Really, I’m only 29 because I haven’t played in two seasons.”
I think what he's trying to say is he's only 31 but really, he's 56 with all the injuries combined with high mileage.

so he is going back to #1

but that frame does not look good for McGrady unless Grover thinks different he always performed at his best when he had a much slimmer upper body.

i guess we'll see how it goes

apparently he dropped a lot of fat though, so potentially he looks about his 07-08 body size. I don't think too much muscle will be the issue for mr.mcgrady.

And he played almost half a season each of the past two years, enough with trying to hide behind the "haven't played in two years" BS.

Go out there and prove it, yapper.

Why is he saying this now? Should he even be talking about other teams when he is a part of the Pistons now? The "my team" made me chuckle.

I wonder why? especially with the teams that the ROX assembeled for him in the last few years, why didn't he want to work hard to win a ring?

Considering so many teams passed on him in the off-season, I can't imagine he's really as fit and ready to go as he says. If he's in his old form, why would so many teams pass him up? It doesn't add up.

It is, however, another storyline to keep my eye on.

Chicago would have signed him in a heartbeat if he had shown anything. I know how much Tracy cared about Darfur, now he gets to play in America's third-world country, Detroit.

It's not that difficult. Lose weight... less injuries.

T-Mac was well worth the risk for detroit. He can still play basketball at a good level provided he is healthy.

Look at a guy like grant hill, people thought he was done but he finally got healthy and he is producing at a high level.
