It's the Hawks. I think he should stay home.

We need every man to be fit and ready. I'm relieved to hear that Tracy is probably playing tonight.

    Simple solution then:
Tmac comes off bench in the role of the ULTIMATE 6th man.

That same attitude is why we lose leads and let teams like the Hawks beat us.

Bingo! You have 2 treat every game like your playing Boston/San Antonio/Ect. We don't have the luxuary to take it easy because we are on the outside looking in right now.

and that's what adelman told the team after the cavs games. that kind of attitude was why we lost to the sixers, grizzlies, and bad teams like that.

in the recent winning streak, we've done a better job of finishing games. that cavs game was the first game where we hustled the ENTIRE game. had we made shots in the first half, it would have been a blowout much sooner.

    this team is getting it.

Exactly. I don't know where JD thinks we are right now in regards to Conference standings.

I don't know why you'd say "it's just the Hawks" in the first place. Forget that that's the wrong attitude, the fact is that the Hawks really aren't even that bad in the first place.

... With that said, they ARE a pretty sorry ass road team, and we should be able to handle them even without Mac.

okay we're right there with G state, and i know ive bashed tmac like crazy in the past but the man was about to pass out during the Cleveland game..

okay it may be the wrong attitude but talk about not having any confidence in your team getting it done without one of their major contributors.

Frankly the Rockets should be able to beat Atlanta without T-Mac. This year the Rockets are much improved over previous seasons when they have to play without him. The reason you want him out there is that the number of games left in the season is dwindling and he needs to get more time in with the new system and teammates before the playoffs.

Hope he's able to play, we're obviously a much better team with him.

That's for the whole season. I think it's pretty obvious that the Rockets have matured a great deal since those early losses. If you tally up the win/loss record since the Denver loss in double OT it's more representative of the Rockets' play since they adapted Adelman's system.

Anyway, two words: Golden State. If the Rockets can beat their arch-nemesis without T-Mac then I'm guessing they can probably handle Atlanta.

then why didn't they handle philadelphia? u also have to remember we blew the 20 pt lead v. the warriors and let the warriors TOOK THE LEAD before yao saved us.

although we played well without tmac during the first 3 quarters, the 4th quarter is still very very pathetic without tracy in those games.
