McGrady at NBA Store NYC for NBA Live 07 Release 9/27 1PM-4PM

    Just a heads up for Rockets fans in NYC. McGrady (and Tony Parker) will be at the NBA Store at 5th ave and 52nd street on Wednesday, Sept. 27 from 1PM-4PM for the release of NBA Live 07.

    "Presale of the game begins on Friday, 9/22. First 150 customers will get the opportunity to meet the players on the day of the event."

    I'm going to try REAL hard to make it. Already took Friday, 9/22 off. If I'm one of the first 150 customers, expect a lot of pictures come next week! Wish me luck!

    how's about "hey teach" had to go meet this chick called Tracy on Fifth avenue..

    I know it was an important class - but damn teach this Tracy girl is the stuff of wet dreams.

    yeah no kidding. i saw the ratings on ign, and yao was something like an 84.

    also if you're the coverboy don't you get some kind of stat bump? tracy has an 81 defensive rating which is crap that's magnified by them giving the sieve, lebron a ridiculous 93 defensive rating. do these guys even watch basketball?

    damn they made lebron a MONSTER.. =P 97 (highest overall rating in game)

    Yao only gets 84, compared to Amare's 89 and Pau Gasols 86.. =/


    ps. Oh yeah Shaq's 89... PsHHHHH..........

    whoa, those ratings are ridiculous. still having shaq rated 5 pts above yao?? EA disappoints me.

    what kind of changes/additions did they make for 07? i doubt it'd change my mind on buying it or not, since our boy tmac is the cover, but i'm curious nonetheless whether anything innovative will be there to help shake up the LIVE series. (and to make up for those absurd ratings)

    Man, i never change the game ratings just on principle, but LBJ getting a 93 defensive rating is just rediculous, i'll be doin' some tweaking.

    Talking about Live. One of my friends is an EA Sports Intern he's tested NBA Live 2007 out.

    It's in a way relating to Madden 2007. You MUST have a certain skill level. It's purely skill, there's about 20 statistical analysis of how a player plays, including thier recovery quickness on defense, their fast-break reaction, thier speed, then thier speed with the ball, their post savvy, it's jaw-dropping. I'll try to find out where he linked me with it.

    You have to be good and use your players properly. You can't play 12mins quarter and run up to 150-200pts, you will get around 80-120. You can't run with Yao on your team, reason Amare is better becasue his fast-break/athleticism(vertical, acceleration,etc. are all counted) is in there. You can't just 'power' over people, you have to remove yourself properly from the guy then power it in, or manuver it.

    Complete Ratings. Over 20....

    Here's the Rockets ratings, so there's so much to account for.

    Also, if anyone played Sega 2k on dreamcast(IMO-the best nba game on a video game console- in terms of realisticness and gameplay). Well apparently it's just like that, on Xbox360. Very very similar realism and graphical workouts, except for Xbox360 works on fine details more.
