Did anyone notice the sequence last night late in the first quarter where instead of taking Dorsey out of the game McFail had Brewer take a rushed mid range jumper off a fast break? Is this the mythical in-game adjustments that McFail apologist point to?

Just as small of the brain size of McHale if that's what he was really trying to do.

Its more likely that brewer wanted to try to get the shot off before the hack to get an advantage.

    Start a thread?

    Write a rushed opinion that isn't thread-worthy.

Mchale just doesn't have it to beat good to great opponents. He's going to be out-coached. We just have to live with it.

Taking out Ariza after a made 3 in the second quarter was genius last night! They called timeout and he pulled Ariza for Harden while leaving Brewer in who hadn't done anything. That's when they went on their run.

Brewer was wide the **** open when he took that shot. 2 points at 33% is preferable to two seperate free throws at >25%...

What else are yall going to dog McHale about?

We could have taken out Dorsey and got the last shot of the quarter. Instead we rushed a forced jumper out of rhythm and the spurs got a 3 to end the quarter.

McHale better make some freaking adjustments, I thought I loved small ball? Nick big dick Johnson cannot take care of that, so have to put someone else in ;)

The smart thing for McHale to do is only play Dorsey or Capela during the first 4-5 minutes of the 2nd or 4th quarter when the other team hasn't committed any fouls. Once it starts getting closer to the penalty, take them out and play small-ball (if Dwight can't go).

The best counter would have been keeping Tarik Black.

Good suggestion. Doubt Mchale has the foresight to implement something like this.

While McHale has some shortcomings... it's not his fault Dwight, Dorsey and Capela are horrific free throw shooters.

Capela doesn't even make sense. he shot 60% in the dleague. man up dude.

53 wins so far with a team with this many injuries, picking up players that were just simply let go, etc.

Pops isn't getting any more out of this team... I don't think anyone is.

I'd rather have a better coach in playoff time, but there are also coaches I'd rather not have.
