McDonald's basketball championship

    Whatever happened to that basketball tournament that McDonald's sponsored? Instead of national all star teams, the tournament featured the championship team from different countries. The Rockets went there (It was in England) in '94 or '95 and kicked ass...

    Ya know, I kept reminding myself to post this all last summer.

    In 1995, they started doing the NBA Champions.
    It was a bi-yearly tourney.
    THe rockets played in London.


    1997 - Chicago Bulls - Paris France

    1999 - Spurs - I forgot where.


    I think the started in 1987 with the Milwaukee Bucks.

    I think the 1991 team was the lakers. I don't remember anymore than that.

    The best thing about this tournament was seeing the european players.
