Surely the ad agency had to do this to make McD look bad. No one could be that ignorant, could they? Go to ESPN.com, and you might see the following banner ad:
That gives "extra pickles" a whole new meaning. I think I'd rather hold my pickle than hit that burger.
The limits of what? Sexuality? "Cant find a woman? Try making sweet love to our double cheeseburger!!!!" Yikes!
hmmmm...fish filet, mcchicken, big mac, oooh, a double cheeseburger - cheaper than a prosititute and more fun than a 17 year old. i'd hit it.
Obviously they don't mean "I'd f*ck it." I think they mean "I'd hit it" as in when your talking about smoking weed or something. Of course that has morphed to mean anything really. Like if you've got a bottle of something and somebody wants a swig, they say to you; "let me hit that."
You can't possibly think McDs is pushing the limits....or even edgy...all they are doing is moving away from their old Pleasantville marketing campaign and trying to be hip and urban. "Trying" is the key word there.
Hah! Yao Ming is on that page with an ad... "Trying to steal the ball from me is tough rolleyes: ) but trying to steal my chicken selects is even tougher!"
