I know how some of you feel about The Huffington Post, but this is more for the clips than anything. I wasn't able to watch the whole thing (just the clips here), so if anyone has any others, feel free to post. Thanks. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/09/12/mccain-grilled-on-the-vie_n_125972.html McCain Grilled On "The View": Sarah Palin, His Abortion Stance, His Obama Attack Ads, And More Huffington Post | September 12, 2008 12:30 PM The ladies of "The View" confronted John McCain today for lying in recent attack ads, pressed him on abortion and questioned his choice of Sarah Palin.
McCain said that the lipstick add was true, and that Obama should not have said it. He did not address the add which accused Obama of wanting to teach comprehensive sex education to children in kindergarten.
How long in this country before people allow people of "the right" side finish a sentence? Compared to Obama on the View, it was an obvious show of disrespect and partisan rancor. Don't even try and say "Hannity" either... he's a commentator... Barbara Walters is supposed to be a respected journalist, and it's her show.
What a ridiculous mischaracterization of what happened. I guess the libs are just desperate for anything to cling to right now -- things are looking that bad for them... When Whoopi asked if she was going to 'be made a slave', that was when it hit rock bottom... Can we ban HuffPo around here? Or are Republicans forced to respond in kind with RushLimbaugh.com posts?
Senator Obama chooses his words very carefully, he chooses his words very carefully, and that was not a mistake. Very awkwardly delivered. He's really coming across as harried, he stumbles through so many answers. His performance is so much worse than Palin's last night.
Wow they devoured him. Not sure if it was "fair" other than the "alls fair" rules, but Ouch. The feasted on him and he looked feable. 2 Questions: -Has anyone else, prior to 2008, heard him mention a "fundamental faith"? -When did the "Good" portion of the "Old Boy Network" cease to exist? I've noticed that elsewhere as well.
