    "IAAF spokesman Nick Davies said the "extremely complex, difficult" test has been started but that the results were not expected for weeks."

    DNA Test to find if she XX or XY . . how complicated is that?

    If this person lacks a *****, how can she not be a woman? I think having the gender tests is the correct decision because it will settle the issue. Either we have a fraud or this girl can get on with her career clear of any suspicion. The people criticizing the IAAF should wise up and realize this.

    Those pictures are incredible. Someone should post a poll.

    If this is a woman, I think everyone can see how this would be incredibly embarrassing.

    You can not just selectively test this way. They should either a)test all female athletes or b)have random testing or c)test all winners.

    I'm not sure but I think Rocket River was wondering what happens if this a hermaphrodite instead of a man trying to be a woman. In that case, imo, it is still not completely a woman, which means you cannot compete against women. I don't think the men's competition is restricted to men, at least it shouldn't be. If a hermaphrodite, trans-gender, or mazyar were to compete in a men's competition they would or should be welcome - just not in a women's competition where they have a natural advantage.

    Semenya won by two seconds, but she is still two seconds off the world record time and almost a second and half off the women's junior record.
