Deke, Scola and Landry are extremely effective. The ball movement is still crisp and Bobby Jackson knows how to run this offense. Lots of blocked shots with all the interior players. If we could somehow add Brett Barry, we'd be ok I think.. At the half, the Rockets are just killing the Wizards

Landry is extremely active. Hitting shots, dunks, blocking shots. He's the complete player. Scola is on fire too. Landry's defense looks just as good to me as Hayes.

Well sure, we'd all love to have Yao back but this team is extremely talented and playing very well right now. Not having Yao and making the team play without him will be good for next year. It teaches the team. Just like not having T-Mac for all those games.

    Er......no comment.

We're playing the Wizards, who just won against NO Hornets. Their scrubs are probably so satisfied with that victory they don't even care about this game right now.

Trust me, we're gonna need Yao when Tracy McGrady gets doubled on every possession in the NBA Playoffs.

Wait until you match with a team who has a good center, like most western conference team does

We are definately faster and more athletic. Landry is very quick to the ball. I don't think we are going to lose much with Yao out. A sure mark of a Championship squad.

Why was I expecting a dumb thread like this after one-half of ball........get real.......Lock this up and throw it away............

Team playing great without him, give them credit.......but make no mistake about it, this is Yao's team.

Sure it's Yao's team but c'mon. I'm just saying that maybe we'll be ok to make a run to the playoffs without him. We don't really have a choice now do we?

I know you're trying to find a positive poprocks but I dont think this thread is warranted until the Rockets show us they can play like this against the Spurs, Hornets, Suns, Utah, Mavs.. not against the Caron less and Gilbert less Wizards.

Well ok, I'll give ya that much. Maybe the thread title should have been. I think we'll be ok even though Yao went down to make a deep run into the playoffs. Course that was a little long so I just made the title what it is.

Rox won't need Yao to get to the playoff. It is just that without Yao, Rox can't beat the likes of Suns, Spurs, or Lakers.

Well a plus this season is that when Tmac does get doubled, we have confident shooters that can step up and score.

Adleman's contributed scoring will really show itself the remainder of this season.
