great gosh a'mighty. <iframe width="853" height="480" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/mEjqRLjP7Io" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
"politicians are cynical power-grabbing fools. ...vote mine in instead!" yawn. wake me up when we have distributed democracy akin to how distributed software innovation works---we live in an age where technology can pinpoint your travel patterns, your interests, and your passions. yet we've used it to sell ads, instead of enfranchising people to do and be better. This commercial is boring tear-jerking, status quo reinforcing, cynical pollack. It poses interesting questions---but steers clear of interesting answers (or any answer at all really).
The GOP is pretty hilarious when playing the fake populist game for their rich backers.. The ad was probably funded by their heroes the Kochs, "populists" according to them. I doubt if fooled too many African Americans to vote for a rightie, but nice try.
Hilarious or terrifying? http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/news/inside-the-koch-brothers-toxic-empire-20140924
this is pretty good too, albeit, of a different genre. <iframe width="853" height="480" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/oyoV74qpovY?list=UU2ysoeWT3QbOmdRpjxfAyiQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I couldn't get past 40 seconds. "Black guys are in jail, and Mary Landrieu has a nice house." Exactly what the **** is Sedale Threatt talking about?
These Orwellian ads are very dark indeed. Koch brothers have pulled the biggest snake oil sales game in U.S. History. Republicans eat it up like yum. They will destroy this country to make their profits, and indeed they are largely successful.
The sad part is that it's all true. The sadder part is that it would be even worse with a Republican in office.
old school, but this is pretty good too. <iframe width="640" height="480" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/8mILEkcrHvQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
