I keep getting these annoying pop-ups telling me about 'critical system errors' and 'registry problems'. They usually ask me to go to some sites to download stuff to fix the problems. I've run Ad-aware, Spybot and Symantec.. to no avail.

Have you guys had this problem before... and how do I get rid of these buggers??? (yes, annoyance level = 3 question marks)

    Thanks.

Might try ZoneAlarm; it is free.

That seems to be the way to go. I know that my next computer will definitely be a mac.

    Thanks guys.

Went to spywarriors dot com forums and they helped me out. Seems like I needed to download Windows XP SP updates... I think that helped.
