Maybe so-called "players coach" Rick Adelman is the problem

It is not the coach's fault if he feels that TMAC is not needed or not wanting to work him in a rotation that is already clicking. TMAC dug his own grave last year so it is his problem that he is not seeing eye to eye with Adelman. What did TMAC do for us the last 2 years. How many games did he help us win and how much did he actually try to work with our staff to come up with an injury plan last year. TMAC created his own hole.

and more importantly, RA is so satisfied with the current change, or he just don't want any change when they play ugly and low efficiently

Now that we're seeing how the current season is progressing, I think it's time to take up this topic again and discuss the many problems Rick Adelman has brought to the Rockets.

    1. Aaron Brooks has regressed in his play from last season and is so angry with Adelman that he beans players with basketballs during games. Nice job developing our promising young prospect, Mr. "Player's Coach."

    2. Terrence Williams, our best prospect, can't even get into the game because of Adelman's vindictive agenda.

    3. Chase Budinger, another prospect, has regressed from last season. Adelman did a very poor job developing him.

    4. The same can be said for Top 10 Draft Pick Jordan Hill, who is posting much worse per 36 numbers than last season.

    5. Courtney Lee, another promising young player and a starter on teams that have gone deep into the playoffs, is posting the worst stats of his career.

    6. Jared Jeffries is so enraged at Adelman's poor coaching that he wants a buyout so he can play for his love of the game again.

    7. Yao Ming, a potential hall of fame center, has been driven into the ground by the minutes and temp Adelman made him play. He may never step onto the court again.

Now in all of these subpoints, there is one common factor: Rick Adelman. Despite being a "player's coach," his development of the younger players is terrible and many are playing the worst basketball of their careers under him, regressing instead of progressing. On the other hand, players that have escaped his iron fist are flourishing, with Tracy McGrady earning a starting spot and continuing to improve despite Adelman's stubborn insistence that he was done in the NBA. Good thing we burned that bridge, it's not like we could use a ball-handling shot creator to play next to our one-dimensional shooters.

Fail until you provide a detailed statistical analysis showing player outrage.

AB's numbers are down because he is not making his shots. He is getting the looks he needs...

Once again same thing, Chase missed open shots while he was in slump, lately he is out of his slump and shooting very well

Rick's fault in Hill case is Rick can't let Hill borrow his IQ.

T-Will could not prove anything in NJ. He had his minutes and his stats does not show him as good as people here think he is.

Lastly, looking at Chuck's improvement.... do you give Chuck credit or the coach? Most of us say Chuck has worked so hard... it's up to players to improve themselves.. when they play better or show that they can help the team, then it's coach's job to get the most out of that player.

Is that supposed to stand for Terrence Only Fan? You're wrong because I also like Scola and Chuck Hayes.

Forgot to add that Landry development came under Adelman. Hill can do the same thing but he is just not that good.

Brooks went from a quick guy to everything under Adelman.

It's not the coaches fault Brooks got injured and can't win his job back.
Really good but T-Will can't get PT cause we're stacked on the wings.
Bud's regressing cause he's just not knocking his shots down like last year.
Hill is turning out to be a bust. Gets shots to play and blows his opportunity.
I believe that Lee is just having a bad year at the wrong time.
Jared Jefferies needs to leave anyway.
As for Yao I think he rushed his-self back and he has always had foot injuries.
Look at Patterson and Ish when they get their chance they ball hard.

This team lacks the intensity and fight it had a few years ago when they took LA to game 7 with coach Adelman leading the team. We're putting the blame on him now since we suck but back then he was up for coach of the year for some.

I agree even I could see T-mac still could play in his first game back but Adlman was more intent on trying to get revenge and would rather give seniority to a bunch of scrubs, and because of that and the overachieving he had everyone siding with him but I knew it would backfire you don't throw your best player under the bus for a rookie.

Adelman? Get..him..out of here(Dwyane Wade voice)

No but seriously its time for his to go. His development is terrible(Charles Barkley Voice). His offense is not a championship offense. No emphasis of D. I really hate that Terrence Williams has allstar potential but Adelman wont even give him a shot. What do we have to lose? JVG would have been put him in the rotation if not the starting lineup.

    I miss JVG
