Do you think that Daryl Morey will pull a fast one and draft Maya Moore out of UCONN with his 1st round pick?

Check out ESPN's scouting report on her

That report is better and more complementary than Kyrie Irvings. Could Moore be our starting SF for the future?

    Get it done Morey

Sure, then we can draft Brittany Griner next year(or year after that).

Draft Maya then Brittney, but use them to cross breed with Hakeem and Clyde to make super players of the future. 2032-36 legacy.

With the 19th pick in the 2011 #WNBADraft, the @PhoenixMercury select Brittany Spears from Colorado.

I don't think she could be a SF in the NBA. SG but not SF. Problem is that the Rockets already have Martin & Lee.

It's actually funny that someone brings this up. A few weeks ago on his podcast, Bill Simmons predicted that within 20 years, some NBA team that's desperate for fans in attendance and national buzz will bring a woman into their camp and let her at least play in some preseason games.

His feeling is that it will be a taller woman who has crazy range that they can just let stand there and shoot.

I can't see it happening, but I suppose it's not completely out of the realm of possibility.

It's happened before. I don't think in the NBA, but maybe ABA or CBA.. I forget.

If she learns to flop she might actually be a decent 12th player off of the bench

Take the biggest scrub you could find in the nba, a Ryan Bowen type, and they would destroy Maya Moore in a game.

how good would the women be if they had a rim proportional to the size of their ball? how good would women be if they had to tee off where the men do?

    Fixed.

But I gotta say, having watched both WNBA and NBDL, WNBA is more exciting.

Ann Meyers had a tryout with the Pacers about 30 years ago. To say it was a complete joke would be kind.

Bill Simmons theory doesn't work now for men. If a player is a stiff, they won't be able to get a shot off in the NBA nor guard anyone.

I don't want to say never, but I just can't see a woman being athletic enough to make an NBA roster. Things are much too fast and too physical.

2009-2010 Yates team would destroy UCONN.
