May 11th is national Stamp Out Hunger Day. In most communities, you can leave canned or non-perishable food items for your mail carrier and they will transport them to local food banks for you. It is also a good time to gather them up and take them yourselves if you can. Check your local newspaper for scheduled events and food drop-off locations. Food banks are struggling with VERY low inventory, partly as a result of the lack of donations and funding after September 11. Lots of charities have struggled because their donations are lower than usual which is to be expected. Anyway, do your part.
For SHAME, Jeff...classic Simpsons quote just sails over your head... tsk tsk tsk...Time for you to go back to Simpsons quote school
