I think Jefferson would be a better fit on the Mavs than on the Rockets. Mavs can do a 1-for-1 trade with Dampier's fully non-guaranteed contract. I hope Kahn is wise enough to get Beaubois and not lose any draft rights or picks, e.g Rubio.
Why arent the Rockets making any moves. All the elite teams are getting there team better and morey is just watching We need a power forward. David Lee is gone, Amare's gone, Bosh is gone. Al Jefferson is the only one left. Rockets have to get Jefferson
And yet, somehow, Dallas' moves always seem to backfire. Mark Cuban keeps throwing money at his lack of a championship and it never seems to do any good.
We should jump in it just to mess with their deal like Dallas always tries to get in on every deal we try to do. Morey get to it. Make Dallas lose interest or the other team like they do to cockblock on us.
I want the Rox to talk to the TWolves about Jefferson but everything I read is that, while he would help, he wouldn't fit well in our system. I trust what the guys are doing but not going to lie, I do get a bit fustrated and inpatient from time to time. Saying that, after seeing what the team has done the last two trade deadlines, I am more then happy to wait for the next Morey special!
Dampier's contract can be waived for $0. Jeffferson would be a istake on the Rockets. I'm hoping the Mavs land him.
