    I say we match anyway

it's only three years and that's the window for contention

But only if we sign Bosh, I don't see a point in matching if Bosh aint coming

When he signs, his cap hold stays the same. Larry Coon just tweet that out, so we will have 4 days to do that following...

    1. Waive all the non guaranteed expect for Beverly.
    2. Trade Lin
    3. Sign Bosh
    4. SEVERELY OVERPAY AND RESIGN PARSONS FOR THAT OUTRAGEOUS AMOUNT.

That is going to be tough to do in the next four days, and the sad part about it is, that its not even entirely on the Rockets. LBJ decisions, and willingness to trade with the Rockets for Lin are going to be major hurdles. The Rocket have their work cut out for them. I love Morey, but i cant help but think, he over smarted himself this time around. Very high possibility that we do not end up with anyone and losing Parsons. Its going to be some tense days ahead for this organization. GO ROCKETS.

If he's been negotiating with Morey and they couldn't agree to terms, looks like Morey ended with egg on his face after calling the bluff

Cuban put the player option in there as the "Morey poison pill", knowing Morey hates them.

His agent dan fegan is known to be a complete *******.. You don't think another team would offer parsons?? The fact that it's Dallas is not a coincidence at all. I think parsons def wants to get paid and would've gone anywhere for the money, but it being Dallas puts more pressure on us to match so maybe he wants to be here after all. C'mon bosh be a man and make up your own damn mind.

Much rather have Deng. Parsons isn't worth anywhere near that

The hardest decision to make in the NBA is to know when to let a FA walk. I'm not sure if that is the case here, but matching offer sheets is the quickest path to cap hell.

Think 2 or 3 times before pulling the trigger.

I can't blame Parsons for doing this. He has to do what's best for him and sign the best deal he can get. It's a business.

The player option is a non-starter. Parsons would never opt out of that ridiculous contract. Dude hit the lottery. I say let him walk.
