First they thought Cuban was schooling the league with cap clearing moves to get Howard and Deron to come to Dallas with 40 yr old Dirk. Now they know that their team is about to become dust. LOL.
Lol, that was just yesterday or the day before. I remember seeing that name on twitter. Let me find the tweets he was talking about.

Found them <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>If I ever quit Twitter, stuff RT @<a href="https://twitter.com/chumdawg">chumdawg</a>: You never answered my ? about Mavs cap space. Next season I think they fall out of the playoffs. Euro big men start slowing down once they approach their mid 30s. I want Cuban to get desperate and make moves that keep the Mavs floating for a few years until that pick becomes unprotected.
For now, but once Dirk begins to fade- they're in trouble. Cuban has the big bucks and he's willing to spend it, but he's a lot like James Dolan. He doesn't spend smartly. That championship was basically Cuban getting lucky that Chandler worked out. All the other guys (Dampier, Haywood) received way too much money and never panned out. Look for Cuban to take up the Rockets strategy of the past few years (bringing in role players to surrond a faded all-star) except Cuban will be giving them massive contracts, making poor trades, and handicapping Dallas.
Why are they on suicide watch? Isn't their team one of the more attractive destinations in the NBA...a place where free agents are willing to go. Wish I could say that about some of the other teams, like Milwaukee, Charlotte, and yes, Houston.
Right now, we are grasping for straws, because he's still there and they are still in the playoff picture. Also, they still have Mark Cuban.
off topic, but didnt want to start a new thread... Barkely, on trying to recruit Dirk for Auburn: <object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/qlz01nBrl4s?version=3&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/qlz01nBrl4s?version=3&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
Mavs just won the championship last year and were competitive this year. lol at Houston fans acting like their team is in any better shape than the Mavs.
Everytime I think you might be turning the corner, you resort to your trolling ways. Why are you here again?
They're not in terrible shape. Their big obligations: 1. Dirk for 2 more years at $43M. He's still a top-10 player in this league. 2. Marion for 2 more years at $17M. No worse than Scola at $30M for 3 more years. 3. Haywood's terrible contract for 3-4 years...and that will likely be amnestied. Everyone else is 1-2 years and $3.5M/year or less. Vince Carter being an example. Aside from Haywood they haven't screwed up their cap, and he can be amnestied.
Dirk is not your average "euro big man". As much as I hate to say it, rockets fans have some nerve. Players still want to come dallas and they won a ring two years ago, it's been almost two decades since we've been able to say that.
