This is incredible now all of the sudden its the NBA´s Fault , David Stern´s fault the referees´s fault etc. I would just like to make some points on why i beleive its "THE DALLAS MAVERICKS FAULT"

    1. You were 2-0 in the NBA Finals and in the fourth quater game 3 you blow a 10 + Point lead with 6:30 left in the game. This is just opened up a series.
    CONCLUSION: YOUR FAULT

    2. In game 4 you just get blowned out of the Arena with no response from your shooters, and not only that but a veteran makes a rookie mistake by doing a 2nd degree flagrant foul on Shaq.... Lets say it wasnt a 2nd degree foul but theres no need to make the League "think" because you had the game lost anyways. CONCLUSION: YOUR FAULT

    3. Your team is not "CLUTCH" examples of this is clear Josh Howards missed free throws(2) in game 5 , Dirk Nowitzki´s missed free throw (1) in game 3.
    CONCLUSION: YOUR FAULT

    4. Add to this list a very stupid mistake "timeout called wrongly" which took away any possibility of winning the game.
    CONCLUSION: YOUR FAULT

    5. I beleive that every team that has won it all has done it with a leader on and off the court, the Mavericks show that they dont have that leader to take that last second shot. Jason Terry is a good shooter and all but is also not clutch at the end and Dirk just looks heartless sometimes.
    CONCLUSION: YOUR FAULT

    6. Another reason i beleive this series is getting out of hand and excessively contreversial is that the Mavericks have an owner that sounds alot like other posters in this BBS, imagine if one of us won the POWERBALL and got the chance to buy the Rockets?? watch out NBA  ; the problem with the Mavericks owner is that he needs to learn to step aside and let the players play the coaches coach and the cheerleaders cheer; and Mark Cuban "NO your not more important to your team than your Shooting Gaurd, Sometimes it seems that you think you are".

Well thats my insight ITS NOT A CONSPIRACY AGAINST the Maverpricks or Cuban....its just basketball and right now the clutch shots are being hit by the HEAT(wade)..

I have never been annoyed of so much complaining by a team. All they do is complain....starting from the top down. Cuban, Johnson, and the Mavs players have not given Miami credit for anything. The Mavs crying and whining is just ridiculous. Cuban also complained about a possible backcourt violation by D-Wade but someone on a espn message board said that it was ok due to the fact it was in the last 2 mins. I just pray that the Heat can finish off the babies.

    Whoever said that is wrong.

The Mavs whine, the Heat whine, the Pistons whine, the Spurs whine. I can do this 26 more times if you want.

As I've been saying since last season in the playoffs:

the Dallas Mavericks are the new Utah Jazz.

No way. Dallas may flop and whine, but the Jazz revolutionized that. Every single team in the NBA flops and whines these days. Every. Single. One. Of. Them.

Dallas is not a dirty team like the Jazz were. They've made some dirty plays to be sure, but not on the level of the Jazz during the Stockton/Malone era.

Hell yes. And if Cuban was our owner, every single one of us would love him for constantly not backing down to the corrupt NBA.

If you defended van gundy's ridiculous accusations two years ago, don't come in this thread complaining.

Every team does whine and complain but the Mavericks are the most vociferous about it.

This is what was posted ....From Section III, The Throw-
    e. Any ball out-of-bounds in a team's frontcourt or at the midcourt line cannot be passed into the backcourt. On all backcourt and midcourt violations, the ball shall be awarded to the opposing team at the midcourt line, and must be passed into the frontcourt.
EXCEPTION: During the last two minutes of the fourth period and/or any overtime period, the ball may be passed anywhere (frontcourt or backcourt) on the court.

But looking at the replay ....looks like a backcourt violation.....The Heat havent whined nearly as much the mavs ....in fact they were talking about how horrible they played in the first 2 games.

It all depends on how you view that team before the whining takes place. I feel that the Pistons and Spurs whine more. There's no way to prove either one of us right or wrong. All I know is all teams whine and all teams flop. That's the state of the NBA in 2006. It blows. It's why the NBA is pretty much at the bottom of my list of favorite sports to watch.

Because in slow motion ....it looks like he catches in the frontcourt and goes into backcourt....its very hard to catch in real time

thats debatable, but irrelevant regardless ....its where he establishes positive established position with the ball

If he catches it in the front court - that is establishing positive position, and then steps into the backcourt it is a violation.

I think it's comical that the Mavs big complaint against Yao last year was the moving pick. Dirk hasn't set a legit pick all series. In fact, I read how the NBA has this new unwritten rule where moving picks are suddenly legal. Everyteam uses them now on high PNR to get better separation. Anyone else pick up on this or remember the BSPN article that I'm recalling? The cried and complained and sent in tapes to the NBA, but now they're benefitting from the exact behavior they were looking to punish the Rockets for last year.

I hope the Heat can wrap this up in 6!

It is irrelevant since the game is over. Im happy that the Heat got the call ....i hope they dont try to give Dallas all the calls in game 6.

How can you establish positive position when you are moving?

Hypothetically... If Wesley got suspended for pummeling Shaq and Alexander complained I would feel embarrassed. If Bogans called a timeout and Van Gundy blamed the refs I would be embarrassed. I cant blame them, but sometimes you have to have some kind of class. You didnt see Shaq crying about the Stackhouse foul yet the Mavs counter with "Shaq fouls us every play"... Whatever.

What did Shaq have to whine about?

Were you embarassed by JVG's actions last year?

The difference between Dallas and every other team is Mark Cuban.

You rarely hear anything from the owner.

Also, Van Gundy didn't whine every game like Avery Johnson. Van Gundy made a wild accusation but Avery Johnson spends all of his time complaining.

Almost every quote from Avery is about this and that with refs.
