The Mavs will not sign any big names. This is absolutely worth the gamble

I def prefer this to tanking

If we didn't at 20M a year, Dallas absolutely isn't overpaying at 24M a year.

Not sure why we aren't trying to do the same thing. We just gave 28 yr old Ryan Anderson $20 mil a year, but $24 mil for the 24 yr old high upside Barnes is crazy? We've got our priorities screwed up. I wish Mark Cuban owned the rockets.

This is great. If the Warriors match it eats up more salary space for them. All while the Mavs leave the off season worse off than the rockets.

Because we are probably going after others right now. Id like barnes over anyone else but if kd doesnt go to gs then u offer barnes money instead of other people and he has to stay with gs which means you missed out on other people chasing someone whos gonna have to go back to gs anyhow, again id like to sign him because with next years cap going up we could sign a star and have a legit team. Barnes, anderson, harden, star player, capela, d-mo, bev, it just sucks hes a rfa

Parsons is better than Barnes by a long shot, but you decided to Max him over parsons. lol

I understand the injury risk, but dang this is a dumb move. They need to reboot and trade Wes Mathews for something and tank.
