that being said, maurice is a strong little dude. He's like a bowling ball.

 

Without a doubt, my favorite part of any Chargers loss are the LaDainian Tomlinson postgame press conferences.

LT can barely speak as it is then the press asks him these questions whenever he's all dejected and all you hear is something to the effect of, "We just uhh...so disappointed. We just.....lost, man." He sounds like he needs therapy or something.

 

Sh*t man, if you were on this years chargers team playing for norv, i bet you'd sound the same way.

I would take MJD over any of the backs of that class. Addai would be close but the Indy O-Line makes everyone look decent.

 

I'd like to see Reggie Bush try that.

A lot of people in SD want the DC fired since he plays a a lot more conservative then Wade Phillips(last years DC). The chargers secondary is always been pretty poor and the defense under Wade Phillips blitzed a lot to mask that weakness, but this year the linebackers are dropping back on coverage instead of blitzing, with only 4 rushing the qb on most of the plays. Merriman may well have been on the juice, but last year a lot of his sacks came from favorable matchups against smaller blockers, but hes mainly gone against offensive lineman and lost this year.

And of course Norv sucks. He cant establish the run(how hard can it be with LT), so it forces Rivers to pass to open up the run game. But Rivers can't handle being the QB to win you games with passing and has played pretty poorly this season, he was a much better as a game manager when LT had his MVP season.
