    Who would you prefer to have as your starting QB? IMO Romo has the potential to be great...I also feel Matt Schaub will be a good QB but thats about it, I'd compare him to a Drew Brees or Marc Bulger type at best... Romo has the potential to be special, I'd say comparable to Tom Brady or Brett Favre assuming he wins Superbowls..What do you all think?

    way too early to call.

    Romo looked great at times last season(like now), and looked craptacular at other times.

    Schaub has been great his first 3 games ... but it's only been 3 games.

    I feel they are pretty similar. They both make quick reads through their progressions. They both look for the long pass. They both make their olines look better with their elusiveness in the pocket. They can both scramble and use their feet to buy time.

    The only thing I would for sure give Romo the advantage on is that he's a better scrambler and is more elusive. Other than that it's kind of a toss up and we'll just have to wait and see.

    Romo's low release point bothers me, he looks like he is tossing it side arm...Schaub throws a better ball.

    Romo = Favre
    Schaub = Montana

    (Yeah, I'm definitely drinking the kool-aid.)

    I'd take Schaub in a second. Romo is the biggest pretender in the league.

    I don't care as long as Carr is gone.

    My sentiments exactly.

    And hey, the Cowboys are more fun to hate when they're winning.

    It's too early to tell really on either one.

    Schaub has shown a great deal of poise in the pocket and has really impressed me. Romo has as well though. He seems to be equally talented at feeling the rush and getting the ball out. He has a unique advantage though in that he has better quickness. The way he can move around is a huge plus.

    If the Romo right now is the real Romo, I'd take him over Schaub. Schaub seems to be the steadier guy potentially with Romo having the bigger upside.
