VS Who is Matt Maloney? <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/hHH-zebPZ6g" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Overpaid but anyone that can bring the ball up, play conservative and consistently, hitting open shots even at a mediocre clip would be an improvement. Lin looks lost out there, like when players are playing their first NBA minutes.
Until Lin has a performance like Maloney's in Game 4 against Seattle in 1997, I have to give Maloney the edge.
For a guy deemed by Clutchfans as a scrub, he is getting a lot of attention. SMH. How many threads do we have about him now?
skip to my lou ftw  <iframe width="640" height="480" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/zylBl6Upzkc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Ahh I frickin LOVED Matt Maloney. I remember being 8-9 years old and watching the Rockets play the Sonics on the UPN channel. This white PG on the Rockets just dribbled the ball up the court and drained 3 after 3 after 3. I was like WOW who the **** is this guy?! I have remembered Matt Maloney ever since.
maloney and lin are similar in many ways. sura was an established player, we got him too late in his career.
Matt used to fight hard despite all his limitations baring his good 3 point shooting, but let's not equate Lin with him. Jeremy is certainly far more talented than him. Lin does need to get going quickly, otherwise we are going to be in trouble.
