Here's a funny clip of Matt Damon finally getting on the Jimmy Kimmel show. One of my friends says that he's really pissed, but one says that this was all staged.

He's a good actor, but this wasn't one of his better performances.

    :p

How could anyone think that was not fake? Did you see the intro? Do you think he really would blow off Damon in all of those other shows?

There's no build. As a former actor, I learned that you just don't BURST OUT in anger like that. There's building to anger that you must have, you don't just shout "F you" and wait. How come JK presented him at the END of the show, and NOT at the beginning?

Definitely staged. His acting in Team America was also fake. "Matt daymon!" :D

You must not have come from the Lee Strasberg school of acting.

Yeah, totally staged. It was the Jimmy Kimmel Live salute to Jimmy Kimmel in primetime.

There's actually a REAL clip of Conan floating around where he says, "our apologies to Jennifer Lopez, we'll try to get her back sometime later this week" from 1996 or so. What's funny is that, I think, Rich Hall is on the couch next to Conan as he says it. I don't know if it's the same episode (or that it was even Rich Hall that J-Lo was bumped for), but Hall DIED on a Conan ep from the mid-90s, worse than any other comic I've ever seen (he was on the couch, not standing up), and it seemed like Conan was the only one getting his humor. I thought it was hilarious, I'm into that dark, weird stuff, but the tourists in the audience did not.

Anyway, J-Lo hasn't been back. Conan's replayed it a couple of times. If NBC weren't such bastards about YouTube, it'd probably be on there.

I never saw/nor heard of this one; though I saw that it had a write-up on wikipedia for some background:

In 1987, Glover appeared on Late Night with David Letterman to promote his new movie River's Edge, wearing a long wig and platform shoes (see video clip). His bizarre appearance was exceeded only by his strange behavior, which was thought by some to have been influenced by drugs, while others presume it was a combination of staying in-character with the role he had last played (the character Rubin from Rubin and Ed), as well as being very nervous. After a failed attempt to challenge Letterman to an arm wrestling match, Glover feigned an impromptu karate kick just inches from Letterman's face. A noticably irked Dave abruptly ended the segment and cut to commercial. Glover later explained his behavior while appearing on the show as simply keeping in the character of his latest role of Rubin, which can be seen in the similarity between the character's style of dress and mannerisms in comparison to the clothes worn by Glover on the show and the actions he engaged in (the character appears again in the video for "Clowny Clown Clown". It is also noted that in the film Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter Glover, when asked to perform a dance, performed a wild dance resembling an epileptic fit.
