You know what is funny, one of the top comments says that "Asik's balance was thrown off by Josh Smith stopping". You see, this is the reason why players that to this are not punished, you can show 100 replays of basic flopping, and guys still don´t judge right. Asik was ready for the minimum contact to happen and he would of fell on his behind, he was unlucky JSmoove stopped and he just looked like a fool and he went right back up like nothing happened, just like Shaq did when he flopped on D12. And I get mad at the refs when they don´t see a clear foul/travel/whatever, guys can´t even see with replays in super slow-motion.
He might be right though, he was back-pedaling and was ready to draw the charge when Smith stopped abruptly and passed it back out. If he really was trying to flop and sell it he would've whipped his head back and such. The Korver one is an egregious flop.
I stated my opinion that is as valid as the comment on the youtube vid. That is a guy back-pedalling and all of a sudden he stops and for a split second waits for the contact to happen (draw the charge), it doesn´t happen but because he is already falling he has no option but to fall and get back up quick and keep playing. For me that is flopping, "he lost his balance" because he was ready to flop at minimum contact. The thing looked ridiculous because no contact was made, but I would like to know if there was little contact, what would the "that was not a flop" crowd say. Just look at Korver, in that case almost no contact was made on the player, the othe guy was just owned by JM stopping his progress but he still flopped. Just look at the Shaq flop on D12, Shaq can also say that he lost his balance when D12 made the spin dunk.
No big deal. That didn't pretend they got shot in the face or go crying to the ref about the injustices of the world. Nothing was called. They fell down and got up and kept playing. If all flops were this innocent, there'd be no problem.
Bullard would've gone ape **** over this Korver already looks like a girl, has the reputation of a p***y, does he really have to go all the way and fall down crying like one ?? This disgusts me and if I were on the opposing team, I would've screamed at the refs and stand over Korver hoping he would start a fight.
