Matt Bullard? Classiest player ever?

    my wife's boss threw her a baby shower at work last week, and he sent
    an e-mail to Bull hoping to get us a free autographed picture or
    something as a surprise. We didn't get jack squat back from him, but oh
    well, the inspirational words that he sent back will be enough...I guess




    Matt -

    Back in your playing days, a friend of mine, John J, started the

    Matt Bullard Fan club. I know at the time it got a lot of airplay on
    the radio and there was even a happy hour that you graciously
    attended. John is now about to be a father for the 2nd time (son #1
    is named Vince, after Vince Young, he's a UT alum). Son #2 is going
    to be named Matthew, in honor of you.

    John and his wife are living examples of the American dream....John is
    Phillipino, his wife is Chinese, and through hard work and sacrifice
    they
    have achieved professional success. We are hosting a Rockets themed
    baby-shower for them on Friday, if you could send a note or an
    autographed photo it would make their day.

    I'm confused.....is the thread title being sarcastic, or not? And why would you EXPECT him to send something? I think it's nice that he even replied.....

    He did exactly as asked. He was asked to send a note or an autographed picture and he did just that.

    Yes, good memories of the Matt Bullard Fan Club and meeting Matt at Jillian's probably like 8 years ago. He a good guy in my book!

    I'm pretty sure Bull doesn't keep stock pictures of himself in storage in the event that someone asks him for an autographed picture. If you wanted a picture autographed by him, then send the damn picture in yourself with a self addressed stamped envelope. You can't be that lazy if you really want something.

    Im naming my second child after him, I figured that would warrant an autographed photo. I wasnt even expecting a frame or anything

    You asked for a note or a photo, and he sent you a note. Seems pretty classy to me?

    My son matthew was given that name by his mother because it was a miracle, since she was on birth control. =( I wanted alejandro.
