Watch the highlights from Cal and Buffalo. Its standard operating procedure for Marshawn to break tackles and run over people like he did yesterday.
I don't doubt that, but that was some of the worst form arm-tackling I have ever seen in a football game, let alone the playoffs.
It was definitely on of the best runs I've ever seen. I'm at the American Football Coaches Association show in Dallas right now. I was watching the game yesterday with a group of coaches. Everyone of them had their jaws on the floor watching that run. Yeah, it was some bad tackling...most runs like this involve some sort of missed tackles. Still, it was easily one of the best playoff runs ever.
I was completely amazed at this. best run of the season without a doubt. i have never witnessed such a great run.
As a Saints fan, he absolutely destroyed us all game long. Just shows you can't win in the nfl without a legit rb.
That was the best run I've ever seen while attending a football game. I came in here to post it. Unfortunately I was sitting in the opposite end zone. Still, amazing to see live and in person. <object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/b6pKIj87CYA?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/b6pKIj87CYA?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></object> At that game (first game of the season) Peterson was crazy to watch. He put on a show after the game for the few vikings fans that stayed to watch (I went to the game with a Vikes fan). He took off both cleats, signed them, and threw them into the stands, and spent like 20 minutes high fiving and signing autographs. Cool to see someone giving that much love at an opposing stadium.
The Petersen run was a great run but I don't think it compares to Lynch's. Lynch breaks more tackles but also consider where the game was at and the importance of the game. The Vikes were comfortably ahead in the 4th quarter against a much weaker opponent in a regular season non-conference game. This was a playoff game with the Seahawks hanging onto a tenuous lead late in the game against the defending champions who had a better record.
