Pitching Matchups: 5-11 -- Brad Penny (3-1, 2.18) vs Roger Clemens (6-0, 2.11) - 7:05 on FSSW 5-12 -- Dontrelle Willis (3-1, 3.73) vs. Wade Miller (4-2, 2.75) - 7:05 on FSSW 5-13 -- Carl Pavano (3-1, 3.38) vs Tim Redding (1-3, 8.02) 7:05 on FSSW
Clemens has got to lose some time, and I think Redding is going to come up with back to back wins. I'll go LWW.
we need to sweep them and have beckett hanging around nolan and roger and andy... you know you want to come back to texas!
i know the marlins are good but what is with all the naysayers saying we will lose this series at home?
Roger is getting lots of love on ESPN right now. He is the main topic. Man, I am loving this season so much! WWW Bring out the BROOM!!!!
Prediction: W L W We played the Fish well last year. Our 'stros took it 4-2, I think. I'm pumped about the Astros facing Dontrelle for the first time ever. His last couple of starts have been rough.. Killer B's need to kick him while he's down. as for the game tonight (05/11)... i have a feeling whoever scores first wins.
Hoping for a WWW Optimistically expecting WWL Realistically expecting LWL (Roger has to give it up sometime)
It was actually 5-1... swept em at home (before the managerial change, and they started playing well), 2 out of 3 in Florida (after the managerial change... and they were in the midst of a hot streak).
W L W, depending on Dtrain's stuff Wednesday. Could be a WWW. Redding finally seems to have some command.
Miller, could just as well be any other teams ace... this man has stuff on par with any pitcher out there... doesn't get as much love, esp with clems and pettite in town, but his matchup is the one im assured of us winning, esp with Dwill sucking it up lately.
Marlins'll steal about 7 bases this series. All 4 of our RHSP are sloooooow to the plate. Miguel Cabrerra reminds me of Vlad, really quick bat.
I thought Oswalt was fast out of the stretch, but he's not pitching this series. It may just be in comparison to the others on team.
Clemens going for his 7th win against the defending World Series champs isn't on TV in Austin - instead we get the Rangers . How lousy. You'd think they'd have a little more discretionary authority to put on the better game.
