http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=insidedishforstonstheson&prov=tsn&type=lgns When the Rockets signed G Bob Sura in August, it was a wonder he still was available. Turns out Sura had offers from other teams but had focused on going to Houston all along. . . . Charlie Ward and Tyronn Lue give the Rockets depth and experience at point guard, but the team probably would like to add more size, defense and shooting down the road. Clippers PG Marko Jaric, a free agent in 2005, is a possibility. . . .
Jaric on the Rockets is an intriguing thought..... A 6'7" guard that is quick and explosive. Young and already a good defender. Can shoot well and isn't afraid to attack the basket kind of like we're used to seeing with another former Rocket (Stevie ). Only real drawback is he's not a pure PG or a playmaker. But, in the offense we will see with T-Mac and seeing him handle most of the ball handling duties, the PG's duty won't really be much more than to hit open shots, play smart, play defense and don't turn the ball over. Natural PG or not, I think most players are capable of thriving in that role.
He cant dribble, he gets ripped alot, if not ripped, gets scared under pressure. Not exactly a true point guard.
