WE WILL BE IN THE PLAYOFFS THIS NEXT YEAR. This, however, depends on a few things...

#1. Everyone is healthy (and in shape!! MO!!!)
    #2. Defense is decent
    #3. Our offense works

This isn't asking to much, but with these improvements. Im sure we would have been here this year without the injuries. I guess we have no other choice than to make the playoffs. :D

If they're healthy, work hard, and they show heart, there's no doubt in my mind the Rockets make the postseason.

As much as I want to agree, I can't. I do not see Houston making the postseason. Out of this year's playoff teams, the only ones that the Rockets have a legit chance of doing better than are Seattle and Utah. Out of the non playoff teams, the Clips will kick some butt next year, They will make the playoffs. If we were in the East, I say we are a high seed. In the West, I don't see it happening.

Offense works? How vague is that?

To begin with, we must decide whether the players or the system is why our offense sucks.

Then, we must draft accordingly. If it's the players who suck, draft the best available. If it's the system, then draft guys who fit the system.

Until we have the question solved, the offense will not go anywhere.

Or perhaps we just install a new offense? Of course, this is hard to do without major changes at head coach or assistant coach.

...and this is based on what exactly? Two year ago the Rockets had a much better season than the Clippers last year and look what happened to them. The Clippers could easily lose Kandi, Odom and McGinnis next year for little in return. Besides, you listed two teams (Seattle and Utah) as the ROckets possibly being able to overtake.

If we acquire Odom, Lewis, or anyone with the same talent or more, then we're a lock for 6th.

With this SAME team, healthy, we're a lock for 8th.

Yes but the Clippers have so much raw talent that they could loose Kandi, Odom and McGinnis and be better next year anyway
