Also, Mark Cuban on Westbrook "He's not a superstar" http://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/mark-cuban-still-isnt-convinced-russell-westbrook-is-a-superstar/
Respect from Cuban is not very valuable considering most people think he's a dumbass. But respect from the GM of the Mavs to a Rocket player is a good sign.
We beating them three times in a row early in the season might have something to do with this, but I also remember Cuban picking Harden over Curry as the 14-15 regular season MVP. It seems Cuban always have had a lot of respect for Harden's game.
Cubes can F off. He is setting this up for something. He ain't being genuine. Stop falling for it delusional peeps
First, I do like Cuban even if I find him annoying at times. I think his takes are generally interesting, out of the box, honest, and have some formidable basis. Second, his take isn't that ridiculous. Don't get me wrong: I think Russ is a superstar by every definition. But his correlation of superstar to wins over statistics isn't absurd. Any player can go out and gather stats, albiet not to Russ's level. I think Cuban is just holding out to see just how far OKC goes. OKC is currently on pace for 51 wins. If that holds up, Cuban will obviously concede his take. But what if OKC falls and ends with 45 wins and a 6th/7th seed. Is Russ really a superstar then? I'm just playing devils advocate here, but it looks like Cuban just wants to see wins before he delves out "superstar" status, and I don't think that basis is that absurd, even with Russ' historic season.
