Cuban is just trying to ruffle feathers. We know he has coveted Artest.

I thought about this, I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Anyway Kobe makes everyone around him better so regardless of the situation he can't be broken down mentally. I say mentally because everyone makes the assumption that Ron is a headcase, but come on Kobe is mature he'll know how to handle it. He isn't referred to as the best player in the game for no reason.

Cuban is correct, of course, but he shouldn't be yapping about it.

He can thank Ron all he wants but even if the Lakers don't make it to the Finals I doubt the Mavs will be the one that makes it.

It's between the Spurs and Lakers to me.

I'd rather hear Ron Ron on Mark Cuban.

Why do people believe the Nuggets are a title conter? Melo is Melo a pure scorer with no defense, Billups is 33 year old thats why they got Ty Lawson for insurance, K-Mart is due for an injury, Nene is over-rated. The rest of the Nuggets bench are worthless (except Birdman).

Well, they did make it to the Western Conference Finals against the Lakers. If you make it that far in the west, you should automatically be labeled as title contenders.

Now I kind of want Ronald to dominate. Mark Cuban is an assclown...

well...they had it pretty easy last year. The Spurs was not themselves, we knocked out portland. Last year was kinda like the western finals was between us and lakers. Denver had it easy. They avoided all the good teams until the finals, the trip which we wanted, offcourse missed out with the last game lose. But this year, if its going to be a four team race. Portland is stronger with more experience. Spurs and lakers. I don't think denver can beat either of those 3 teams. I am not counting them out, but not playing enough team defence is gonna kill them this year. Also the jazz and mavs are stronger as well (jazz getting back boozer). So denver is not going to be in the WCF IMHO. They are going up against better teams than last year. I felt that they made it that far is a 1 off thing, like the mavs to the finals. They just had all the right things happen at the right time for them last year.

    Anyway just my thoughts.... :D

LOL maybe Cuban would have been more believable if his team hadn't tried trading for Artest last summer. Ironically though, I see Artest being a much better fit for the Mavs then the Lakers. Artest would have given them the rugged D and post presence they lack.

Say what you will about Cuban (He's not my fave, either), but he is right. Like many, I was so glad we had Artest last year. Now I'm happier w/Ariza. And I consider it entertainment to see the Artest/Lakers drama unfold. There are sure to be fireworks out of LA-la land this season, regardless of the success they may have on the court.
