    Mark Cuban went on First Take this morning to debate ESPN's biggest contrarian troll Skip Bayless.

    And it was an absolute bloodbath.

    Some quotes:

    "You don't ever use facts, you don't ever use substance."

    "First of all, you have the presumption that people care what you say. They don't."

    He also just obliterates the notion that Miami "played harder" than OKC, and makes Skip go dead quiet when he explains how the Mavericks stopped LeBron James last year.

    These quotes were generalities about the media:

    But he does get him towards the end, imo. Anyone have the complete video. I'd like to hear Cuban's answer to that last question.

    It shows you that there are people that watch the basketball and there are those that understand the game of basketball. It is a really sad comentary on sports journalism when they cant get indepth on the game. I was really impressed with how well Mark Cuban knew the game. He understands whats happneing and why its happening on the court. Too often people just follow the ball and think they know whats going on in the game. It looks like Skip is one of those people. Sad.

    I see Mark Cuban still bitter about the sweep OKC gave him and his Mavs, lol.. Picking on Skip Bayless is like picking on that r****ded kid in school...

    This is a guy who was a Tech mogul...who just destroyed the reps of many sportswriters across the country...what he is saying is when you report...make better quality arguments...do your homework...

    BS answers by SAS and the lack of an answer by Bayless...was just that...they dont do their homework...

    I get that the NBA officials get more access have more tapes...but members of the media get much more than the common fan...we have the right to ramble on...bc in truth 99% of fans really dont know...

    What Cuban said and its completely true is that "Sports" media really dont do a solid job when it comes to breaking down a game...evaluating a teams strengths and weakness..they just go to the box score and read the stats...they really dont know anything about defenses, schemes...offenses and its schemes...and cant objectively describe when a player doesnt meet that standard...

    Cuban as much as he is in the hated city of Dallas...is a very smart man...and if i was a prospective player (ie Deron Williams) i would call this man up...he cares about the game. He owns the team for the love of the game.

    That's probably true of most of the national media or the TV talking heads. I'm sure there are plenty of knowledgeable beat writers though.

    Ha Ha. So Awesome. Just too awesome. He destroyed SAS later on as well. Someone had to do it and he did it such a cool and collected manner as well.

    You cant be that rich if you dont have any brains. Cuban is just too intelligent.

    Cuban - "it's harder to find the right coach than it is to find the right players". That almost makes me discount everything else he said. Sounds like him and Morey don't agree there. Guess all stat guys aren't the same.
