Is this guy made of glass or what? He is out with an injury again. But get this....

....its a Sprained pinkie!!! Boohooo! A sprained pinkie...where's my mommy?!?

Whats the big deal with a sprained pinkie? Myself and countless others who play basketball sprain fingers all the time and still manage to play.

    Talk about soft!

The other four fingers on his hand would have to pick up the slack, resulting in a broken hand next week, leading to a broken arm after that. In a few weeks Camby would be a puddle of goo inside a Nuggets jersey.

hmmm, someone offered me a trade for camby yesterday. maybe it's time to screw them and accept it. of course, it was for mike bibby (yeah trade me bibby for the guy ranked #1 in our league, quite even) so that's a no go.

What's with the hate on Camby?

Marcus has always been a hard-working player on and off the court. JVG, for one, loves him.

Not counting this season, Camby has been in the league 9 years. The total number of regular season games over that time is 706 (-32 from Lockout season). Camby has played 490 games, or about 69% of the time. He pretty much will miss 1/3 of every season on average.

Perhaps because people keep on saying that Camby > Yao.

Well, when he is healthy, its arguable.

The guy can flat out play. Better defensive player, better rebounder, better shot blocker. He can score too and shoot a good percentage with both his FG and his FT.

    Hey,

Maybe we can pick him up in a year or two when he has no more skills.

He's actually been pretty healthy with the Nugs and credits Steve Hess, our strength coach, for a lot of that. As for the pinky thing, well, there's no defending that one.

And like someone said earlier Camby is almost guaranteed to miss a lot of games during the season, meanwhile Yao has blown away everyone with his consistency, especially for a 7'6" guy that was suppose to have all sorts of debilitating knee/ankle problems (knock on wood).

I'm hoping the pinky thing is a made-up injury sitting in for another, more legitimate but more embarassing injury.

camby doesn't have the sturdiest body. a guy that rail thin playing in the post, you almost expect him to get injured.
