It's nice to see the Thunder off to a good start against the Lakers. But they've blown large leads several times recently. I want to see how they react after the Lakers start playing defense and make their run. I'm not optimistic.
Durant looks TINY compared to Artest lol The Thunder, IMO, will take out the Jazz if they meet up in the playoffs but the lack of a interior presence and bench will cost them against LA, Dal or Denver in a 7 game series.
Amazing, the Lakers basically started nailing the coffin shut on the Spurs Dynasty a few nights ago and tonight they are witnessing the birth of the next great Western Contender. The West next year is going to be SICK just SICK... Lakers will be great and i'd look at them going after a PG in the offseason Denver has Melo and Billups Portland will have a healthy team OKC will probably use their cap space to get a legit Big and Bench help Dallas will probably be on their last leg but still have a superstar in Dirk Utah will be good as always but the Boozer issue will be one to watch SA should still be a playoff team and Dangerous Rockets Yao and a mystery guy to join Brooks, Martin and the young guys Sac, LAC, NOLA, Memphis and PHX should all be Dangerous...
Artest owns KD and can stop him whenever he wants to. The Jazz are the team I want OKC to draw in the 1st round. The Thunder don't have enough talent to do much in the playoffs. I'm just hoping they are able to win at least 2 games.
damn, delfino fell to the floor and haslem stepped on his neck while going up for a rebound... being taken off in a stretcher..
ubleivable score in OKC. is the score lieng or something? 48-80 in the 4th quarter and the lakers only with 48 at the start of the 4th?wow.
The Lakers never made a run in the 3rd quarter. The Thunder kept scoring, then the Lakers resorted to hoisting up a bunch of long jumpers and the blowout was on. This probably means the game here tomorrow will be over before the half. I expect the Lakers to come out early and make a statement against the Rockets depleted roster.
Manu is just sick tonight... 14pts just in the 4th qtr. He's still got it. Why does the Spurs not want to resign him again???
He has been playing real good lately so not surprising. I REALLY hope Morey at least inquires on Manu.
nets get 9th win of season tie the 1973 76ers for alltime nba worst regular season win-loss record; beat pistons 118-110, 37 points for lopez and 31 points for yi jialian
the raptors-nuggets finish was so shocking, first bargnani making a 3 point play, then melo missing 2 free throws, then bosh giving them the ball back, billups scoring a three, bosh missing a FT, then melo first missing the shot, then like 3 tips to the ball, and melo with the last shot winning the game. and who said that the spurs were going down the last part of the season, (maybe they spurs get their playoff ticket before the blazers) and who said manu was old? and the nets winning two in a row, to teams the rockets lost (kings and pistons)
