I don't always agree with the boys from ESPN, but I gotta say, that works for me. I want my Rockets in the playoffs. Do they deserve it? They don't act or play like it.

i was under the impression that if you finished with a better record than someone else, you deserve to be ahead of them. i guess not. of course that assumes we actually finish with a better record.

I don't get the "this team don't deserve to be in the playoffs" or "that team don't deserve to win the title" stuff. If they win within the rules, they deserve it, period. The only time when one team don't deserve to win is when they do illegal things (without being caught) or the officiating helps them win.
Wow their record is far superior against the West than our record. Considering the records are almost equal, does that mean they are far inferior against the weaker Eastern conference? Somebody help me with this...
For the most part of season, Yes we deserve to be a playoff team. But for last two weeks, it just horrible.
I understand that, but that's not what Marc Stein is arguing. He's arguing about what the Rockets have done against the different teams. Its one thing to say they are backing their way in, its another to say, yeah but they didn't beat these teams. Everyone plays the same schedule.
Come on. Can't we just vent? Yes, if you have the record to be there, you deserve to get in. But somewhere along the line the team has lost heart and it discourages me, too. I hope they make the playoffs. But they'll have to catch on fire once there to earn some respect, and return a bit of self-respect to themselves.
There's a difference between being disappointed and wanting the current roster going to hell and burn for all eternity.... It's funny that when the Rockets were winning consistently there were still empty unsold seats. Now these people who probably never went have the excuse to admit that they didn't go.
