He came in during garbage time (Warriors on top) and played a couple of minutes. Not much action. His face was impassive, and he mostly walked up and down the court, though he did battle for position in the paint. The Wizards broadcasters talked about how unhappy he must be, noting that he was going to be a big part of Houston's rotation but is now hardly playing in G.S. I got the impression from watching him that his principal goal for the year is to look like he's doing his job but to avoid injury at all costs.
No trade value? I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Jackson traded to Indiana for Travis Best in mid-January. Jackson's still in 'training camp', so I won't make any judgments about his play for another couple of weeks. His team spirit seems to be improving, though. After Troy Murphy took a couple of cheap shots versus the Raptors, Jackson was the one who stepped up as the 'enforcer' by throwing a you-mess-with-my-teammate-I'll-mess-with-yours elbow at Vince Carter.
