He's going to Suns, reached multi-year deal with them. Says he's disappointed he didn't reach an agreement with the rockets, so apparently he wasn't offered the type of money he was looking for.

    Good riddance

so they traded away voskuhl, a role player with defensive capabilities and limited offensive skills, and signed padgett, a role player with offensive capabilities and limited defensive skills......and what was the main reason why they lost to the Spurs? oh right...INTERIOR DEFENSE!

El Rey ha muerto. ¡Que viva el Rey!
    did I get that right?

I really DID like padgett. I don't know what I am going to do about my goatee now... he was my inspiration... for that and for my three-pointers... :(

    Farewell, Scott.

I guess money is more important then playing time as he wont see much playing time in Phoenix as he would have had in Houston.

Say, doesnt this open up a spot for Lon Baxter?

I would have much preferred Padgett on the bench than Charlie Ward, Moochie Norris, Vin Baker and/or Clarence Witherspoon. Padgett's three-pointers and heady play will be missed. Worse, he makes the Suns better.

Why 'good riddance'? He gave what he had. Sometimes a little more. A couple times a lot more.

Good luck, Body -- off the court mostly.

I sure as hell wish that Berman would join this bbs. That guy's got the best Rockets scoops in the city.

padgett played well for the rox last season but they have other plans. imo, he deserves his multi-year contract with the suns.

Who cares....its not like hes a great loss. Pick up any white boy in the league that plays sf and they can hit an open 3. Except for Boki

The only ones, if you include the Sports Radios, Cronk, and other TVers. Otherwise, no. BBS #1!
