Sure low risk move he can be our 5th string point guard!

Not an upgrade over Rafer or MJ, and probably not Stevie but not like we fans would know if Steve has anything left.

for vet min if it didn't work send him to bench but he could hit that shot coming off that pick at the free throw line. rafer can't at all that is how mike bibby made a living in this offense

rafer isn't dumb he just can't shoot where as marbury can shoot and he averages more assist than our pg's plus he shoots better than all of them

    lol

With people complaining so much about Van Gundy acquiring washed up former Knicks, how ironic would it be if we had Marbury AND Francis in our backcourt rotation?

Oh, and its not happening. The Rockets are already paying luxury tax, and I doubt they'll sign another player. Even if its for the veteran's minimum.

If we got Marbury, the result is: Houston would become New York.

Can we put him behind Steve on the depth chart? Would it make Steve happy? If so, go for it, even if he wouldn't.

let me further expand upon this theory that Blake presented...

    NO

    NO

DONT EVEN FLIRT WITH THE NOTION OF CONSIDERING MARBURY

he is the worst cancer in the league...

there is a reason each team he left went on their respective conference finals...

So, we should sign him, and then promptly cut him. That's the obvious solution to our problems.

I think trading Juwan has us covered in the "teams automatically get better" category.

What's the more logical "never-will-happen" borderline crazy move? Signing Marbury to the vet minimum or sending Rafer/Snyder to Minnesota for Antoine Walker and forcing him to go on the Atkins Diet?
