He either gives the Celtics so much that depth that no one team can match their talents, or will completely kill the Celtics.
That's the worst wording I've even seen regarding a play being a "cancer" to a team. It sounds like you actually want all the Celtics players to get cancer.
The Celts signed him. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_y...YcB?slug=ap-celtics-marbury&prov=ap&type=lgns
I have no clue why people think he will ruin the Celtics. The chances of that happening are slim to none.
How did you jack up the thread title twice in a 3 word sentence? Correction, "Marbury a Celtic". Come on now man........
I know. And, regardless of how he plays, if the Celtics don't win the championship then it will all be Marbury's fault. You'll hear the word cancer so much you might think you have it.
he was a 13-5 player last year in only 24 games. and it took him 33 minutes to get those numbers. this year he was not even practicing with the team, and should not see more than 18 minutes per game in boston. what could he really add? 7-3? what he brings to this team is a true PG behind rondo. house isn't a ball handler. i dont know how much that helps the celtics, but they aren't adding an all star thats for sure.
Yup exactly by reading some of the stuff on this situation you would think the Celtics were signing someone who they were going to depend heavy on. Well that isn't the case. Marbury will play but not a wholeee lot. Marbury will be on his best behavior, he knows if he messes up this situation his NBA career is in critical condition.

Wow the Pacers are actually hanging with the Starbury induced Celts....without Granger That's pretty impressive.
Amazing performance for a guy that hasn't played in regular season NBA game for over a year. He'll help the Celtics.
