When JJ hit the game-winning shot, there was barely a roar from the crowd. Even if we were playing the Bulls, if you are a true Rockets fan, you would be going crazy!! But it seems like barely a handful of people showed up.

I wish they would do a Clutch BBS day where all 15,000 of us to fill up that damn crowd (well, it might 7,500 since half of the BBS is from China).

Hmm... maybe it was where you were sitting, dude, because when JJ hit the game winning shot, everyone around me went crazy. It was totally loud. Than the party broke louse with the powerdancers hitting the court and fireworks.

The crowd was on and off during the game, but they were in it the last few minutes.

We didn't have a good turnout with the 2nd worse team in the league coming to town while having poor attendence already?!? Say it ain't so...

Umm, I don't live in Houston. I was watching it on NBA League Pass, and compared to other game-winners, this was pathetic.

Well, I was there and it certainly wasn't pathetic.

Maybe you need a better tv.

been to most games this season, this game crowd wise was comparable to the overtime jazz game......good crowd, good turnout,,,all this in the lower "corporate" bowl

You were 240 miles away watching it on television. There are three people so far in this thread saying what you heard wasn't what actually happened.

I'm thinking you need a better tv because the crowd, which I was a part of and you were not, was very wild after the shot.

Dude, do you watch games on TV? When a game winning shot goes off, it goes wild! This was like 1/10 of it.

Cmon man you're exaggerating, I saw it on TV and the intensity level looked pretty decent. Besides, haven't enough pot-shots been taken at Houston fans lately.

Dude, you're not going to get it. If you go to different cities like Indiana, Sacramento, L.A., etc., you can actually hear the crowd going wild after a shot like that (a.k.a Robert Horry's or a Reggie Miller shot). This was a last-second shot that won the game. The cheering after that was like after a made shot in any other arena. From the looks of it, half the crowd left when it was the 4th quarter.

I was at the game and can confirm the place went wild. Your TV really did suck.

That's certainly not our worst of the year.

I was listening to it on the radio through most of the fourth and heard the fans going nuts but I made it home in time to watch the final few minutes on television. I don't know about your TV but on mine they were on their feet and screaming. Perhaps your television was on mute? :D

I envy those who can go to the game.

If you go, make some noise! :)

Good to hear that there was some excitement! :)

Nothing to heal wounds from arguments better than winning...

It seemed like majority of them were high up in the arena or they left the building. Even a quote from JJ in the Chronicle showed how the crowd was before the 4th quarter:

From the looks of it on TV, it didn't show much of a crowd in the 4th.

You're right, the crowd was not really in it before the 4th quarter but when the game got close and JJ hit the shot the crowd was diffidently in it.

I ran into Tim before the game and he said that this was going to be close to a sellout which he said was amazing considering no one sells out the Bulls games anywhere.

Speaking as someone who's been to a lot of games, I thought it was a good crowd, particularly in the 4th quarter. It was loud as hell during those last 3 minutes and I was downstairs.
